Warranty
Last updated March 27, 2026
This Warranty applies to all Lock & Grain (“L&G,” “we,” “our”) products and is incorporated into our Terms & Conditions. This Warranty sets forth the exclusive remedies available to the Customer for product-related claims and governs all claims relating to product defects and supersedes any inconsistent return provisions.
COVERAGE OVERVIEW. This Warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship under normal residential or office indoor use. The Customer must retain and provide reasonable proof of purchase to make a claim under this Warranty. This Warranty is divided into two coverage periods:
-
Cosmetic Condition (30 Days)
-
Structural Integrity (5 Years)
COSMETIC CONDITION (30 DAYS). Customers should inspect products within 30 days of delivery for:
-
Finish defects
-
Visible damage not attributable to shipping
-
Manufacturing inconsistencies
If a qualifying issue is reported within this period, L&G will, at its discretion, repair, replace, or otherwise resolve the issue. After 30 days, cosmetic condition is deemed accepted and is not covered by this Warranty.
STRUCTURAL WARRANTY (5 YEARS). L&G warrants that products will remain structurally sound under normal residential or office indoor use for 5 years from the date of delivery. Structural defects include:
-
Failure of joints or connections under normal use
-
Material failure not caused by misuse, improper assembly, or environmental exposure
Refinishing and Customer Modifications. Custom finishing, refinishing, or surface treatment performed by the Customer does not void this structural warranty, provided that:
-
The product has not been materially altered in a way that affects its structural integrity, and
-
Any disassembly and reassembly has been performed properly and completely using the provided hardware and instructions.

-
Use the product only for its intended purpose
-
Maintain the product in a suitable indoor environment
-
Perform reasonable care and maintenance
Failure to meet these responsibilities may void this Warranty.

-
Providing photos, videos, or other documentation
-
Returning product or components if requested

Providing access for inspection where applicable
-
Failure to cooperate may result in denial of the claim.
REMEDY. If a valid claim is confirmed, L&G will, at its sole discretion:
-
Repair the product
-
Replace the product or affected component
-
Issue a refund or credit where repair or replacement is not practical
Replacement is the preferred remedy where feasible.
RETURN OF PRODUCT. L&G may require return of defective product or components as part of the claim process.
-
If a claim is determined to be valid, L&G may, at its discretion, cover reasonable return shipping costs or provide a return method
-
If a claim is denied, the Customer may be responsible for return shipping and related costs
-
Failure to return requested items may limit or void the claim.
DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTIES. Except for the express warranties set forth herein, all other warranties are expressly disclaimed, including without limitation the implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.
LIMITATION OF LIABILITY. To the fullest extent permitted by law:
-
L&G’s total liability under this Warranty shall not exceed the amount paid by the Customer for the product at issue
-
L&G shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages, including but not limited to damage to other property, loss of use, or costs associated with assembly, disassembly, or replacement
This limitation applies regardless of the legal theory asserted and survives any failure of essential purpose of the remedies provided herein.
